One of my favorites to read is Little Whistle&#39;s Christmas. I just love the magic of the story! <br /><br />The first book my 8YO picked from the holiday library was Teddy Bears Trim the Tree. That would go well with Amy&#39;s salt dough suggestion. We love making cinnamon-applesauce ornaments, too. They smell SO good, and you can&#39;t beat just 3 incredients. My girls don&#39;t know that many Christmas songs. I need to remedy that. We don&#39;t have ANY of these books, although we do have a wonderful Jan Brett anthology. <br /><br />As far as crafts go, the main thing I&#39;ve done with my girls in the past has been making salt dough ornaments, which you could adapt to any of the books if you have the right cookie cutters. In fact, I think I posted a blog entry sometime last year.
