We have the Airplane book by Barton, it was Max's favorite book during Mike's last cruise and oddly enough it finds it's way off the bookshelf and onto our current reads coffee table just about every time Daddy goes away. I always enjoy your reviews! Thank you!

Hmmm. . .very interesting, especially that in about eighteen months, I'll be actively looking for books to keep a little boy occupied. . . I'll have to make a note of Byron Barton. :-)

That Peter Pan looks interesting--the illustrations looks different. Did I ever mention that I found and purchased a Robert Sabuda Peter Pan? I was (and am) thrilled!

Gus sounds really fun, and I love that you're reading it now. And the Peter Pan book sounds great. I've never read the original book, but I remember watching the movie.

I love that octopuses show up in such different books! On YouTube there's a video of an octopus hatching, then learning how to open a jar of crabs. My daughters were fascinated by it. (I felt sorry for the crabs...)
